Stroud International Brick and Rolling Pin Throwing Competition 16th July 2011 |

Stroud International Brick and Rolling Pin Throwing Competition will be held in Stroud NSW on 17th July 2010.
PROGRAMME OF EVENTS
10.30 a.m. Procession of Floats – through Stroud to Stroud Showground
11.30 a.m. Presentation to Procession Winners
11.55 a.m. OFFICIAL OPENING AND FLAG RAISING CEREMONY
12.00 p.m. First Brick and Pin to be thrown.
12.10 p.m. Junior Brick & Rolling Pin Throwing Contest commences.
12.15 p.m. Display by the City of Newcastle RSL Pipe Band on the main stage.
12.30 p.m. Performance by the Croc Stars Mobile Reptile Display on the back stage
12.45 p.m Performance by guest on the main stage.
1.00 p.m. Heats of 2010 Stroud Central Hotel 300 Metres Gift begin, conducted under the control of the NSW Athletic League.
1.35 p.m. Entertainment by guest on the main stage
1.45 p.m. Junior Races & Novelties begin in the Rodeo Ring – 11 years of age and under
2.50 p.m. Finals Stroud 300m Handicap
3.10 p.m. INTERNATIONAL BRICK AND ROLLING PIN THROWING CONTEST
3.30 p.m. Presentation to Team Members
Details of the days event will be advised over the Public Address System.
The Committee reserves the right to alter this programme without notice.
BRICK & ROLLING PIN THROWING CONTESTS:
Elimination heats for the Brick and Rolling Pin Throwing Contests, open to all, will commence at 12.45 p.m. in ring centre. Entries will close at 2.00 p.m.
Four special prizes of $50.00 each will be awarded to the best throw in a Junior Contest from competitors 17 years of age and under and 12 years of age and under.
Please Note: Junior events ONLY will be held 12.10 p.m. – 12.45 p.m. NO junior throws will be accepted after this time
Members of International teams must reside within the Local Government areas of Great Lakes, Gloucester, Dungog, Port Stephens, Manning, Cessnock & Maitland.
International Teams will be announced as soon as possible following close of entries. Please Note: Contestants participate at their own risk.

JUNIOR RACE & NOVELTIESAt 1.45 p.m. a Junior Race, for contestants aged 11 years and under, will be conducted in the Rodeo Ring. Entries will be called for at approximately 1.20 p.m. and prospective contestants will be required to assemble in the Rodeo Ring at this time. Event will include Junior Foot race, Egg & Spoon races and 3-legged races. Total prizemoney for this event is $XXXX..
